Sweet Stalker - Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce
By Jinx'em Scents
Made to mop, glaze, and finish.
Goes on: Pork, Beef
Sweet Stalker is a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce built for the guys who hunt their own meat.
How to run it
Sauce it right.
- 01
Cook the protein most of the way naked. Sauce is a finish, not a marinade.
- 02
Brush or mop it on in the last 10 to 15 minutes.
- 03
Let it tack up over the heat. Watch the sugars, they scorch fast.
- 04
Hit it again at the table. That's the coat that counts.

Sweet Stalker is a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce built for the guys who hunt their own meat.
Jinx'em Scents comes out of the hunting world, better known for game scents than pantry goods, and they built Sweet Stalker with wild game in mind. It runs sweet up front, tangy on the finish, and thick enough to glaze a backstrap or a rack of ribs. Coming from a hunting brand, it earns its keep on venison as easily as it does on anything off the backyard grill.
Brush it on late so the sweet sets into a glaze without scorching, or pour it over the plate once the meat is rested and sliced. It clings well, so a little coats a lot, whether you are working a whole shoulder or a couple of grilled thighs.
Best on
- Venison and wild game
- Ribs and pulled pork
- Grilled chicken
- A burger straight off the grate
- Smoked sausage
