Lillie's Q - 'Hot Smoky' Barbecue Sauce (15.4OZ)
By The Epicurean Trader
Made to mop, glaze, and finish.
Goes on: Pork, Beef
Lillie's Q Hot Smoky Barbecue Sauce is a memphis style bbq sauce with a shot of cayenne behind it.
How to run it
Sauce it right.
- 01
Cook the protein most of the way naked. Sauce is a finish, not a marinade.
- 02
Brush or mop it on in the last 10 to 15 minutes.
- 03
Let it tack up over the heat. Watch the sugars, they scorch fast.
- 04
Hit it again at the table. That's the coat that counts.

Lillie's Q Hot Smoky Barbecue Sauce is a memphis style bbq sauce with a shot of cayenne behind it. It leads sweet up front, then the heat climbs in on the finish.
It runs the same Memphis backbone as the Lillie's Q Smoky, sweet tomato and brown sugar with a curl of smoke, then a hit of cayenne to light it up. The brown sugar hits first, the smoke fills in behind it, and the cayenne builds slow on the back end instead of slapping you all at once. Made with gluten free ingredients and no artificial colors or flavors.
Mop it on slow-cooked ribs and tri-tip over the last stretch of the cook, or run it over anything that can take a little fire. It is the bottle for the crew that likes some heat without losing the flavor underneath.
- Slow-cooked ribs and tri-tip
- Smoked wings
- Pulled pork and brisket
- Anything that can take some heat
